The Music

Guohui Ye: Drinking Wine by the Stream’s Choice
Vividly expressive. Inspired by a painting depicting an ancient tradition of floating wine down a stream—when the cup stopped along the bank, the person nearest would recite a poem and drink!

Xiaogang Ye: Scent of the Green Mango
Sultry and full of awe. The piano music of Chopin inspired this piece.

Rachmaninoff: Symphonic Dances
Vibrant and rich. Rachmaninoff quotes several of his own pieces throughout the work, providing a summary to his career.
