Appearances: Served as concertmaster of the Tucson Symphony Orchestra, Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra, Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra, and Tampere Philharmonic Orchestra in Finland; as guest concertmaster with the BBC, Montpelier, West Australian, and Navarra Symphony Orchestras; the London, Royal Stockholm, Helsinki, and Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestras; the Orchestre National de Lille; the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra, 10-city tour of the U.K.; and the Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra, BBC Proms debut, 2014
Performances: Solo debut at age 14 with the Toronto Philharmonic Orchestra; soloist with every major orchestra in China and Korea; performed on 10 hours’ notice to replace an ill William Preucil, performing Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons 20 times in one week; toured Japan with the Busan Philharmonic in 2008; has worked with conductors Riccardo Chailly, Charles Dutoit, Riccardo Muti, André Previn, Yannick Nézet-Séguin, and Sir Simon Rattle; has performed with leading musicians Pinchas Zuckerman, Jaime Laredo, Carter Brey, John Sharp, Marya Martin, and members of the Orion, Tokyo, and Guarneri string quartets
Positions: Concertmaster, Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra; faculty, Royal Conservatory of Music, Toronto; has been on the faculty of the Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts, Korean National University of the Arts, Yonsei University, Tampere Conservatory, and the Seoul Arts High School; has taught at the Bowdoin International Music Festival, Atlantic Music Festival, and Interlochen Arts Camp
